What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is someone using the internet to put someone else down; without saying it in person. The cyberbully might send hurtful comments, like a threat or nasty texts. They could post embarassing images of someone, like post a really embarassing video of someone or spread a rumor about someone.

What can I do if I'm getting Cyberbullied?

If you are getting cyberbullied tell a trusted adult. Save all of the texts the bully has sent you because you are the witness and the texts or messages are the evidence. Don't reply to the bully because that will make you just as bad as them. Most social media have a report place to go to, so you can report that you are getting cyberbullied by them.

Don't Cyberbully!

Cyber bullies cyberbully because they want to seek attention. Cyber bullies won't get caught unless you do something about it by telling a trusted adult or teacher. 

How to prevent Cyberbullying?

To prevent cyberbullying here are some tips to stop/prevent cyber-bullying: Tell a trusted adult, or teacher or friend and tell them what is happening.  If it keeps going on raise awareness that you are getting cyberbullied to your Principal.
